Federal association of In-house counsel e.V. honors PASCHEN once again

Once again, PASCHEN Rechtsanwälte has managed to make it to the podium: In this year’s issue of Kanzleimonitor which summarizes the results of the annual survey of the Bundesverbandes der Unternehmensjuristen e.V. (BUJ), the law firm is praised for its expertise concerning insolvency law. PASCHEN was able to assert itself once again with multinational major law firms and to improve in the category of Hidden Champion by 5 positions up to place 11. In this category, the recommendation rate resulting from the ratio of the number of recommendations to the number of professionals is particularly high. PASCHEN reached a figure of 167%. In the field commercial law was even able to achieve the top place in the category Hidden Champion. This rank was also achieved by the leader of the insolvency practice group, attorney at law Michael Schmidt. Thus, he managed to reach the top of the in-house counsels’ recommendations of all lawyers in the field of insolvency law who were mentioned several times. At the recommendations of companies with a turnover between 1 and 10 billion Euro the law firm was in the top 5 in this legal field.

As in the past, PASCHEN was able to achieve a very good position in the survey initiated by BUJ and conducted by Frankfurt’s media group dfv together with Otto • Henning GmbH Management Consultants. In addition to its expertise in insolvency law, the special know-how in the field litigation and ADR was particularly emphasized. The study conducted under scientific direction of Prof. Dr. Thomas Otter from Frankfurt’s Goethe university is based on more than 9,820 recommendations for lawyers and law firms in 32 legal fields by legal departments of 930 companies, with more than 7,700 referrals among domestic companies alone.
