Success: PASCHEN’s lecture in the Chinese megacity of Hefei
PASCHEN continued its perennial tradition of visiting Sinosure. This year the Hefei branch hosted a conference on qualified receivables management in Germany and Europe with a focus on the current global market and the European financial crisis.
One hundred and twenty clients and interested parties attended the seminar held at the Park View Hotel in Hefei – the aspiring industrial city 500 km west of Shanghai. During the three-hour lecture, PASCHEN Rechtsanwälte attorneys at law Randy Djuhanda and Lutz Paschen, presented not only the basics on the European Union with its legal framework but also the impact of the European financial crisis on import/exmport business. Using Greece as an example, attorney at law Randy Djuhanda discussed several factors key to the successful collection of receivables in the EU and pointed out the significance of prompt action in handling cross-border claims.
Afterward,attorney at law Lutz Paschen explained the changes in German insolvency law along with the opportunities it presents to Chinese suppliers. An in depth Q&A again illuminated the importance of the topic and affirmed the enormous interest of esteemed participants from various industries.
