Successful kick-off for this year’s „Insolvenzgläubigertage“
How can I recognize an impending inability to pay among my customers? How can the risk of bad debts be minimized and how can I protect my company against insolvency administrator’s rights to contest a transaction? These and other questions were discussed at the opening event of the “Insolvenzgläubigertage” on June 1, 2016 in Oberursel (near Frankfurt am Main). Once again, the second edition of the event series which successfully started in 2015 is tailored for suppliers and purchasers from any sectors. Last year’s event in Oberursel already attracted around 80 participants to attend specialist lectures to learn and discuss current issues in the area of insolvency.
Unlike other events on the subject of insolvency, the “Insolvenzgläubigertage” do not address insolvency administrators and judges but focus on the affected creditor’s interests.
Yet, it’s not only the target audience which makes this practice forum a special event: “Instead of regurgitating the classic German law, topics are viewed from different perspectives with a practical orientation”, Dr. Ulrich Orth from Daimler AG praised. Being one of the speakers himself, his lecture was dedicated to supplier risk management in the automotive industry. In addition with the discussions followed by each lecture as well as stimulating conversations during the breaks, this second event version was exceedingly successful, concluded Orth.
The next events of this series, developed by PASCHEN Rechtsanwälte and organized together with Deutsche Kongress GmbH, will take place on June 14, 2016 in Düsseldorf and on July 7, 2016 in Munich.
