BvCM Regional Event North in Wolfsburg – Credit Management Practice Update 8

For the eighth time, the BvCM Regional Event North hosted ­– together with PASCHEN Rechtsanwälte and Bauking AG – its Credit Management Practice Update 8 in the Autostadt Wolfsburg on May 5, 2015. About 50 participants from the financial domain of medium-sized and group companies as well as interested service provider came from all over Germany to attend to interesting lectures covering current issues in the area of credit management.

The lecture of Hans-Eckhard Gallo, senior court officer at the district court in Simmern, attracted considerable attention. He presented pragmatic approaches to increase the success of enforcement and depicted consequences of the reform personal property garnishment.

André Hickmann, head of applications development of swepp GmbH, expanded on efficient electronic processes in the area of receivables management. The audience learned how transparent online communication with debtors and service providers can be achieved. Effective hedging measures against insolvency proceedings was the title of the following lecture presented by Wolfgang Anneken and Stephan Laakmann from Credit, Surety & Political Risks, MARSH GmbH.

An interesting insight in new opportunities of cross-border enforcements of judgments in the EU, presented by attorney at law Lutz Paschen, completed the informative afternoon.

At the end, the participants agreed that the exchange of information and experience provided substantial benefits for the daily work.
