European Accounts Receivable Network summit in Barcelona

Following last year’s PASCHEN initiated EARN-Kick Off Meeting in Berlin, the 8 European EARN partner law firms gathered this year in Barcelona, Spain to extensively exchange their experiences and expertise.

The participants paid special attention to the last national statutory law changes and the EU Late Payment Directive (http://www.30max.eu/), the latter of which has to be transposed into national law by all EU member states.

In order to strengthen the EARN services range, the members voted for a shared web client interface to advise multinational enterprises in different EARN countries more effectively. Furthermore, EARN is going to arrange an uniform remuneration-scheme providing their clients a calculable cost risk in the future.

The next meeting will take place in the Netherlands 2014.
