Kick-off: Series of seminars in Construction contract law

On February 13th 2014 the first seminar of the series „Construction contract law – Enforcement and protection of legitimate claims – practice-related strategies and approaches“ took place in Hannover within the framework of PASCHENs e-masters co-operation. The lead attorney at law Dr. Jörg Schudnagies, head of PASCHEN´s practice group building projects & real estate, inspired the participating e-masters members with several illustrative examples from his day-to-day practice in construction contract law specific topics. The arch spanned conclusion of contracts to the possibility of obtaining security for builders and pitfalls of the abatement for the contract with deficiency exceptions up to the judicial assertion of justified claims.

The members from e-masters member firms actively participated by asking questions and thereby enabling an interesting exchange over the lectured contents. The presentation was a thoroughly successful kick-off for the following series of seminars. The next seminar on February the 26^th 2014 will take place in Münster.
