We can do differently: PASCHEN at the 5 x 5 km TEAM relay

That the staff of PASCHEN Rechtsanwälte not only give their all for their clients but also show stamina in sports, the participants of the Berliner Wasserbetriebe’s 19^th 5 x 5 km TEAM relay on 8 June in the Berlin Tiergarten. We started with three teams.

The running event conducted by the SCC and the Berliner Wasserbetriebe, where each year thousands of running enthusiastic companies, organisations, associations and recreational sportsmen participate, has become a fixture in the event calendar of PASCHEN Rechtsanwälte. Meanwhile, this event took place on the 9^th time with us – but this time under difficult conditions: It was the hottest day in the history of the Berliner TEAM relay according to the organisers, so the PASCHEN runners worked up a proper sweat. However, this could not stop anyone to mobilize all forces and do one’s best on the 5 km stage along with loud cheering from the teammates and our equally represented catering team.

Much more important on this day than standing on the winner’s podium, were having fun and the team spirit. In all PASCHEN running teams were represented on every level of professionalism – from the marathon experienced attorney at law Michael Schmidt and legal trainee Daniel Rauscher to colleagues who – motivated by the event – just started with regular jogging.

Our catering team ensured that the snack packages issued by the organisers were sufficiently spiced up. The nice weather did the rest that the run ended with a cosy get-together after sunset. Exhausted but content we agreed that we should participate again next year.
